The Souhegan drops through Wilton past the old mill walls, loud in April and rimmed with ice by December. Kirsch and Sons works both ends of that year: mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups while the river runs high and green, then plowing, shoveling and sanding once the town goes quiet and white. Winter mornings mean driveways opened, snowbanks cut down, walks cleared to bare footing before anybody reaches for a coat. Summer means a straight cut, tight corners, and a lawn that stops crisply at the walk. Same yards, same hand, opposite weather.
