Kilgore Landscapes builds landscapes in Wilton, New Hampshire, where the Souhegan cuts past old mill brick and the ground rises quickly into hemlock and stone-walled hills, and where nothing sits flat unless someone makes it so. Their design/build work runs from grading and drainage to patios, walkways and retaining walls, from lawn installations and planting to irrigation and outdoor lighting, on small residential upgrades and large commercial properties alike. There is a real pleasure in the result: a walkway that holds its edge through mud season, water sent politely away from a foundation, a patio that catches the long gold light coming down the valley on an August evening. Come dusk, the low lamps find the joints of the stone, and the yard looks like it has always belonged there.
