About MJ Kirker Outdoor Services LLC

Westmoreland sits where the hills lean west and let go, dropping through hayfield and hardwood toward the Connecticut River, and the land here has opinions about how a yard should be kept. MJ Kirker Outdoor Services LLC works that grade — mowing lawns that follow the contour rather than fight it, leaving stripes that run clean past the stone walls and the sugar maples, edges cut sharp enough to read from the road. Come the cold months, the same ground turns to a different job: plowing driveways along Route 63 and the back lanes, opening a path in the blue dark before anyone has found their boots, pushing the banks back wide so the day can simply begin. There is a real satisfaction in it — a valley dooryard that looks tended in July and passable in January, held steady by someone who knows the ground it sits on.
