About Dow's Outdoor Services,Inc

A blade dropped, a truck idling warm at three in the morning, hands that know the pitch of a driveway by feel before the headlights find it — that is the shape of the work at Dow's Outdoor Services, Inc. Weare's roads climb and dip along the Piscataquog, and snow here doesn't so much fall as settle into every dirt-road curve and stone-wall hollow between Route 114 and the ridges above Everett Lake. Clearing it is a matter of angle and patience: banks pushed back far enough to hold the next storm, a dooryard opened wide, a driveway steaming faintly black under the first gray light. The reward is plain and physical — a house that can get to work, a hill town that keeps moving while the woods stay buried to the knees. Snow removal for Weare and the towns around it, storm after storm.
