About Warner Stone LLC

Below the covered bridge at Waterloo the river slows down, and the maples above it let go all at once. Warner Stone LLC works the fall cleanups then — leaves blown out of the beds, off the lawn and away, and the grass taken short one last time so it goes under snow clean. The rest of the year runs to the ordinary rhythm: mowing, trimming, edging, and the April raking that takes winter off a yard. Warner runs to stone walls and old sugar maples, and both take a patient pass to work around. There is real pleasure in a lawn that stops exactly where the wall begins.
