The Tree Fellas

About The Tree Fellas

Sanbornville grew up around the railroad, and on an October morning the maples along its streets go off like signal lamps, red and orange against a cold blue sky. The Tree Fellas do lawn care in Wakefield, and autumn is when that work shows most: leaves raked out of the grass before they mat down, a last mow before frost, corners cleared so the yard goes into winter neat. Lovell Lake lies right beside the village, steaming faintly in the first chilly dawns. By afternoon a cleaned-up lawn here glows under the bare branches as if summer forgot to leave. That fresh, open look is the whole reward.
