About Lance's Landscaping

Great East Lake spills across the state line, so a summer afternoon in Wakefield can glitter with water that is half Maine's. Lance's Landscaping handles the lawns in this corner of Carroll County, where yards drop through white pine toward the shore and the light bounces off the lake well past suppertime. Mowing, trimming and tidying keep those slopes looking cared for between swims and cookouts. The pride is in small things: a straight stripe across the grass, a sharp margin where lawn meets granite, nothing left scattered on the path down to the dock. It is the kind of yard that makes an August evening feel longer.
