About K & L Lawncare

A well-kept yard pays its people back a little every day — in the ease of stepping outside barefoot, in the way an evening opens up once the grass is short and the edges are clean. K & L Lawncare keeps lawns in Troy, New Hampshire, where the ground runs to granite and old stone walls and Monadnock stands over the back fields like a neighbor who never moves. Mowing, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanup: plain work, carried through until the lines lie straight and not a clipping is left on the walk. There is a particular quiet at the end of it — the mower shut off, cut grass hanging sweet in that clear Cheshire County light, the dooryard suddenly looking like somebody loves it. The lawn holds that shape all week, and the house wears it well.
