About Verde Landscaping LLC

Thompson and Meserve's Purchase lies on the northern shoulder of Mount Washington, a land of steep spruce slopes, rushing headwater streams and weather that pours over the Presidentials with little warning. Green comes late to this flank of the mountains and leaves early, and in a cold spring snow lingers in the high ravines into summer. Verde is the Spanish word for green, and Verde Landscaping LLC makes the most of that brief season, mowing and shaping lawns so they look their fullest while the warm weeks last. Against a backdrop of bare rock and cloud, a smooth, even lawn is a defiant splash of color. When the summit fog lifts on a July evening and the sun lights the northern peaks, that green glows as if it was always meant to be there.
