About Hoden Landscaping

July afternoons at Swanzey Lake are all glare and cut grass, mowers running in the hours between swims. Hoden Landscaping keeps those camp yards and year-round lawns on schedule — mowing, edging along the drives, hedges kept clear of the view toward the water. Sandy soil near the lake dries fast, so thin turf gets seed and the beds get mulch to hold whatever rain arrives. Spring means raking out the winter's sand and grit; fall means the leaves, all of them, off the lawn and out of the shoreline beds. It is the kind of upkeep you notice most on the drive in, when everything simply looks settled.
