About Gar Wal Lawn Services LLC

West Swanzey wakes with the Ashuelot moving under Thompson Bridge, that long shingled tunnel the river has been talking to all night. Gar Wal Lawn Services LLC works both halves of the Swanzey year — mowing, trimming and edging while the valley is green, then plowing and shoveling the same dooryards once road sand starts singing under the tires. There is one kind of satisfaction in a lawn cut clean to the stone wall, and another in a driveway opened before the first car needs it. Autumn arrives here by the tarp-load, maple and oak hauled off so the grass goes into the cold still breathing. By January the job is simple and exact: bare pavement, a walk treated to the step, nothing left for anyone to worry about.
