About Goodwin Brothers Land Services, LLC

Late in October the Sanbornton hayfields go the color of dulled brass, and the work turns with them — the mowers come off the trailers and the blades go on. Goodwin Brothers Land Services keeps both halves of that year: lawn care and mowing through the green months on these hill roads and lakeside lots, snow removal once the Lakes Region hardens and the dirt roads ring underfoot. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn cut tight and true where it meets an old stone wall, and the same satisfaction in a driveway opened before sunrise, gray light on the plowed banks, the day handed back to whoever lives there. That is the shape of the work in Sanbornton and the towns around it — Tilton, Northfield, Franklin, Belmont, Laconia — one property at a time, one season passing the work to the next.
