Salem has stone in its bones — the ledges and set boulders up at Mystery Hill have been sitting there longer than anyone can account for, and the same granite runs under half the yards in town. Miller Landscape & Design works with what that ground gives: mowing and trimming on schedule, edges cut against walks and stone, beds shaped and mulched, and cleanups to open and close the year. Design is mostly noticing — where the shade falls at four o'clock, where water wants to run after a July thunderstorm. A yard that looks composed rather than merely cut is the aim, and it shows best in midsummer once everything has filled in.
