About Dawson's Precision Painting & Carpentry Inc.

February in Salem is the honest month — January's snow is still stacked at the end of every drive, and the cold has gone dry and blue. Dawson's Precision Painting & Carpentry Inc. takes on the winter work here: plowing driveways, shoveling walks and entryways clear, and putting salt down where the shade keeps a patch of ice alive all week. Precision is a carpenter's word and it carries over — a plowed drive with square corners and the banks pushed back where they belong. On the steeper streets north of the Depot, that squared-off edge is the difference between a smooth morning and a stuck car. The reward is simple: pavement, before breakfast.
