The Difference Landscapes

About The Difference Landscapes

There is a week in Rye when the last mow of the year and the first snow in the forecast land on the same page of the calendar, and the work simply pivots — decks off, blades on. The Difference Landscapes keeps lawns and driveways in a coastal town where the wind arrives straight off the Atlantic, salting the stone walls and leaning the sea roses along 1A. Warm months mean grass cut to an even nap and edges drawn clean where turf gives way to gravel and sand; cold ones mean being out ahead of the light, opening a drive between the marsh and the beach road so a morning can begin on time. The satisfaction is the same in either direction: a yard that holds its season, a path that is simply passable, a property that looks looked-after from the road.
