About Northwood Tree Care LLC

Up the hill from the village, Stinson Lake goes still and dark in November under its mountain, and the road climbing there is spruce and hemlock the whole way. Northwood Tree Care LLC works that back country and the flats down through West Rumney, where the first wet snow of the year tests anything with a weak crotch. The work is plain — take down what has become a hazard, trim what crowds a camp or a wire, prune so a young hardwood carries the next storm better than it carried the last. Cleanup afterward is the same either way: everything cut apart and carried off until bare ground shows again. Cold air, a still lake, a yard put back in order — not much beats that.
