About Urban Forestry Tree Care LLC

Rochester's green lies wide and level in a town where almost nothing else is, with the Green Mountain National Forest standing up on both sides and the White River just getting started. Urban Forestry Tree Care LLC works that narrow valley and the gap roads that climb out of it east and west. Pruning is the everyday craft, old wounds cleaned up in the maples around the green, low limbs raised over a walkway, a crown thinned so a house gets its afternoon light back. When a tree is finished, it comes down in pieces, roped and lowered so the ground beneath stays just as it was. And after a storm funnels down the Route 100 corridor, the hours go to clearing driveways and carrying off brush until the yards look untouched again.
