About FX Tree Service

Past the city center Rochester turns back into villages — Gonic and East Rochester, mill houses shoulder to shoulder, the Isinglass River cutting its own way through the woods to the north. FX Tree Service works those corners on January mornings when the cold makes the wood ring and every crown stands plain against a gray sky. Winter is the season for pruning and for removals that would tear up a soft lawn in any other month, the frozen ground carrying the weight and leaving no scar. Ice storms fill the other half of the calendar: hangers pulled off driveways, split trunks brought down, the whole mess cleared before dark. An open driveway at first light, steam off the coffee, nothing overhead but sky — that is a good morning.
