March in Raymond is the ugly, hopeful month: road sand along the shoulders, matted grass, the Lamprey running high and brown. New Leaf Landscaping, LLC meets it with a spring cleanup and a first mow, and from there mowing, trimming and edging carry through to the autumn haul-off. When the cold returns, the same trucks plow driveways, shovel walkways and entries, and treat the slick spots with salt and sand. Two seasons, one route, the same houses. The best part is watching a property come back — brown to green, buried to bare pavement — because somebody showed up.
