The same patient work goes underground for landscape lighting: runs buried, fixtures set low along a brick walk or beneath a maple, so that when the blue hour rolls in off the water a property softens rather than disappears. It is unshowy craft — trenches closed, sod laid back, nothing left to see but color that holds and a path you can walk after dark. From the tidal edge out toward Rye Beach to the streets climbing above the harbor, that steady green is the whole point.
