About Purcell Landscape Services

Above Wilder Dam the Connecticut River widens into a long, slow reach, and when the first real storm of the season comes up the valley it whitens the hills on both banks at once. Purcell Landscape Services handles snow removal in Hartford, plowing driveways and clearing snow through the winter months. Interstates 89 and 91 meet in this town, and after a long drive home through a storm, the last few hundred feet up your own driveway ought to be the easy part. Hartford's hills rise sharply from its river villages, so the snow comes off down to the surface where a car can climb. Purcell's aim is a driveway that greets you plain and open, the snow stacked to the side as neatly as a winter's split wood.
