About NM Outdoors

There is an hour in a Pelham storm when the roads belong to the plows and to nobody else. The yards lie flat and white, the streetlights hold their small cones of falling snow, and NM Outdoors is out in it. Snow is the whole job here — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and steps, salting the slick spots, and coming back for the ridge the town truck rebuilt at the end of the drive an hour ago. By the time the first car backs out of the drive, the pavement is dark and wet and the day starts on time. That is the entire point of the night.
