Thomson Tree Service & Excavation

About Thomson Tree Service & Excavation

Orford lines its Ridge with white houses facing west over the Connecticut, and most summer mornings the valley below fills with fog before the sun burns it off Mount Cube. Thomson Tree Service & Excavation works those river-road places and the hill lots up along Jacobs Brook, where sugar maples shade the dooryards until the day they ask for attention. That means removal when a tree is past its time, trimming to hold limbs off roofs and wires, and pruning to give the young ones a frame worth keeping. Valley storms funnel between the hills and arrive fast; the cleanup afterward is unhurried and complete, the wood stacked and the dooryard left level. A tidy dooryard with the hayfield beyond it is about as well as a workday can finish.
