Tenney and Son Landscaping

About Tenney and Son Landscaping

In Nottingham the land still remembers the glacier — boulders dropped like loose change through the oak and white pine, stone walls running off into woods that were pasture once, and the low Pawtuckaway hills holding the last light over the lake. Tenney and Son Landscaping works that ground: mowing, mulching, dethatching and aeration, seasonal clean ups, and the raised beds and perennial plantings that soften a yard's hard corners. They build in stone as well — walkways, patios, retaining walls, steps and curbing, mailboxes set to stand straight against the frost heaves — the sort of work a place keeps. When winter takes the county, the plowing and shoveling and sanding begin long before the school buses, and the roof rakes come out to pull the weight off the eaves. From Nottingham through Northwood, Barrington, Deerfield, Candia, Raymond, Epping, Lee, Durham, Exeter and Dover, the reward is plain to see: a crisp edge, a swept walk, a drive open to the road at first light.
