North Hampton keeps its dooryards close to the road — low stone walls running under old maples, gravel drives that end at a barn door, salt drifting in off the marshes a mile east. Coastal Enginuity works on the machinery that keeps those yards in order: lawn tractors and riding mowers, zero-turns, walk-behind mowers, chainsaws and trimmers and blowers, and the snow blower waiting out August in the back of a shed. They pick up and deliver, so the tractor that quit mid-row leaves on a trailer and comes home running, and used equipment moves through the shop as well. Diesel tractors, portable generators, ATVs and side-by-sides, snowmobiles, dirt bikes and street bikes and vintage iron all cross the same bench. It is honest, satisfying work — an engine that catches on the first pull, a deck that cuts clean again, and somewhere down the road a lawn that holds its lines.
