About welch mowing

The mower reaches the corner, turns, and comes back the other way, and the grass takes on that banded, brushed look only a walked line leaves behind. Welch Mowing keeps weekly lawn mowing going for homes and businesses around Newport, where the Sugar River slides past old brick mill walls and the land tips up toward the Croydon hills on one side and the Sunapee highlands on the other. The work carries past the cut, too — lawn upgrades and landscape design, the patient business of deciding where the eye should rest and how a yard ought to sit against a slope. Come evening the edges are clean, the clippings are gone, and the lawn holds its shape the whole way down the street.
