About Sullivan Land Management

Half of New Ipswich is trees, and the line between a yard and the forest is not a line so much as a negotiation. Sullivan Land Management holds that line — mowing and maintaining lawns, cutting back brush, clearing overgrown edges and keeping open ground open where it wants to close in. Late fall is the season for it, once the leaves are down and you can finally see the shape of a piece of land. Trimming and edging finish the near ground; the wider work reclaims the rest. There is a deep quiet in standing at the end of a day looking at ground that has just been given back its outline.
