About RK Outdoor Services LLC

Out on the ridge the white domes of the tracking station sit above New Boston like something dropped from a colder planet, and by February the fields beneath them have gone the same shade. RK Outdoor Services LLC runs the storms from that side of town — plowing driveways, opening turnarounds and chasing the drifts that build across open ground wherever the wind finds a gap in the treeline. Drifting is its own problem up here; a drive cleared at midnight can close again by four, so you go back out. The measure of a night's work is black asphalt at sunrise and the snow pushed well clear of the mailbox. Winter in this town is long, and it goes easier when somebody else is watching the sky for you.
