About D'Eramo Contracting

Joe English Hill catches the first of it — a gray smudge on the western edge of New Boston that thickens until the whole town is under it. D'Eramo Contracting spends those nights out in the weather, plowing driveways and turnarounds along the back roads while everyone else listens to the scrape go past and rolls over. The job is simple to describe and hard to do well: clean down to the pavement, stack the snow where it won't blind the end of the drive, come back once the town truck throws a berm across it. By morning the bus route is passable and so is your car. That is the whole reward, and it is enough.
