About Stump N' Grind, Llc

A stump comes down below the grade, the chips get raked level, and the knuckle of old oak that sat in the middle of the lawn is simply gone — grass will close over the spot by August and no one will remember it was there. Stump N' Grind, Llc works that trade around Nashua, where the river bends toward the Merrimack and the brick mills hold the early light above streets lined with maple. Winter turns the work outward, to plow blades on the driveways off the hill roads and snow pushed back to clean pavement before the first commuters are awake. There is a plain pleasure in a lot cleared edge to edge and a yard left flat enough to mow — a result that holds, quietly, until the next weather comes.
