About Performance Landscaping

By four in the morning the Daniel Webster Highway is a corridor of orange strobes and blowing snow, and Nashua's parking lots are still one solid white field. Performance Landscaping is out in that — plowing lots and driveways, stacking the banks where they won't block a sightline, opening walkways and sanding the spots that always ice up first. A city this size has to be ready by seven whether or not the storm agreed to stop, so the passes keep coming. The trucks run Nashua and the towns beside it: Hudson, Merrimack, Litchfield, Hollis and Pelham. Daylight is the best part of the shift — lots black, lines visible again, traffic moving like nothing happened.
