About J1st Services, LLC.

A February storm comes up the Merrimack valley sideways, and by four in the morning the side streets off Nashua's Main are nothing but blue dark and drifting. That hour belongs to J1st Services, LLC. — headlights swinging past the old mill brick, the blade set down, the length of a driveway opened clean before anyone inside has found their boots. Snow removal is the whole of the work here, and the pride of it lives in the result: banks squared off, pavement laid bare right to its edges, a way out held open for Nashua and the towns nearby. There is a plain satisfaction in coming back past a lot at first light and finding it dark and wet and ready, while the woods along the Nashua River are still knee-deep and white.
