About Gate City Landscaping & Property Service LLC

The last pass of the mower closes the pattern, and the grass lies down in clean bands that hold the low light coming off the Merrimack. Gate City Landscaping & Property Service works in Nashua and the areas around it — mowing through the long green weeks, keeping properties maintained, clearing away what each season sheds, and drawing new gardens and patios into yards that were only lawn before. There is a plain satisfaction in a bed cut sharp at its edge, in stone set level under maple shade, in a yard that reads as tended from the sidewalk of a mill-town street. Spring comes up wet here and autumn arrives all at once off the wooded hills; the craft is meeting each one as it comes, and leaving the ground better than it was found.
