The Craftsman

About The Craftsman

A Nashua snowstorm at night is almost soundless — porch lights hazed over, the hill streets erased, the river running black between white banks. The Craftsman works those nights, plowing driveways down to pavement, cutting walkways to the door and out to the mailbox, and treating the places where a slope will turn to ice by morning. The city's older streets are narrow and the yards leave little room, so where the snow goes matters as much as moving it does. Coverage runs through Nashua and the towns surrounding it. Morning comes, the shovel stays in the garage, and the day starts on time.
