About Spot Pond Tree Service, Inc.

From the top of Red Hill the whole shape of Moultonborough lays itself out — the Neck reaching into Winnipesaukee, Squam off west, the Ossipee range standing up in the east. Spot Pond Tree Service, Inc. works the roads beneath all of it, the camp lanes on the Neck and the year-round places along Center Harbor Road, where oak and pine crowd close to the rooflines. October suits the trade here: cool enough to move, clear enough to see, and every pruning cut showing plain against the color. When an autumn blow drops a limb across a camp lane, the cleanup runs the same day, because a road with a tree in it is a road nobody is using. Removal, trimming, pruning, cleanup — four ways of saying one thing, which is that a place ought to look cared for.
