About CJC Outdoor Services

On a summer morning the Susquehanna lays a rope of fog along the valley floor at Milford, and it holds until the sun clears the eastern hills. CJC Outdoor Services is out under it, mowing the river-flat lawns while the grass is still cool and cuts clean. Otsego County growth is heavy in June and stubborn in August, so the mowing schedule flexes with the rain instead of arguing with it. Trimming, borders and the spring and autumn clearings fill out the calendar on either side. Milford, Milford Center, Portlandville and the road south toward Oneonta.
