About Jc Lawncare

On a July evening in Derryfield Park, the granite tower of the Weston Observatory catches the sun long after the streets below have slipped into shade. Jc Lawncare works the summer lawns of the city spread out beneath that hill, where big shade trees keep the grass lush deep into the season. Manchester's yards are a patchwork of triple-decker strips, corner lots and front slopes, and each one gets cut and trimmed to its own shape. A fresh mow under a city maple is one of summer's plainest pleasures. From the tower's summit you could watch the whole city's lawns stitched together, and Jc Lawncare is one of the hands doing the stitching.
