John's Landscaping of Madbury

About John's Landscaping of Madbury

Early on a Madbury morning, before the mist lifts off the Bellamy and the fields along Route 155 come back into color, the mowers are already loaded. John's Landscaping of Madbury tends lawns in this small Strafford County town — mowing, trimming and edging, mulch beds, and the spring and fall cleanups that pull oak and pine litter off a yard hemmed in by old stone wall. There is a plain, physical pleasure in the finished pass: stripes laid straight down a sloping side yard, a bed edge cut clean against the grass, everything squared away by the time the long light comes over the hills. Around Madbury and the neighboring seacoast towns, that is the whole of it — a yard that holds its shape, week after week.
