About Mending Wall Landscaping, LLC

Stone walls run everywhere through Lyme, up through the woods on the shoulder of Smarts Mountain and along roads that were open pasture long before they were shade. Mending Wall Landscaping, LLC keeps the living half of that landscape in order: mowing, trimming, edging, bed work and seasonal cleanups on the greens and dooryards around the Common with its long row of horse sheds. Grass beside old stone wants a careful line — cut close, never scalped — so the wall stays the strong shape in the picture. Hill light in this town is soft and unhurried, and the work goes at about that pace. Serving Lyme, Orford, Hanover and the towns along the river.
