About Frenette Farm Landscaping

Loudon is hayfield country giving way to woods, where the Soucook winds past stone walls stacked by older hands and the back roads climb and dip with the hills. Frenette Farm Landscaping works that same ground — landscape design and hardscape, retaining walls set true against a slope, lawns, fences and decks — either drawing the vision for a property or building out a plan already on paper. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in this line of work: a wall that holds its grade through mud season, a lawn cut to a crisp edge along the drive, a dooryard that finally looks like it belongs to the land around it. Come winter the work turns to snow removal, driveways opened before the light comes up over the ridge; the rest of the year it is green and growing. Either way, the place is left looking tended.
