Lee sits close enough to the water that the weather arrives half-salted — fog pooling in the low ground along the Lamprey, October light coming sideways through the oaks, February storms that fall wet and heavy and set like mortar by morning. The Difference Landscapes works to that particular sky: mowing and edging through the long green stretch, fertilizer and weed control, mulch laid dark around the beds, seasonal cleanups and pruning that hand a yard cleanly from one season to the next. They also build the bones of a place — landscape design and installation, patios and walkways and paver work, irrigation lines, lighting that keeps a path legible after dusk — and when the snow comes they are out ahead of it with snow and ice management, so the drive is open and the walk is bare before anyone has to think about it. There is a plain satisfaction in the results: a mowing line straight as a hayfield furrow, a stone edge holding its shape under rain, a lit walkway glowing at the end of a dark road. The crew keeps to the Seacoast and southern New Hampshire — Lee, Durham, Madbury, Barrington, Dover and the towns that ring them — residential and commercial ground alike, tended so the people who live on it can simply be outside.
