About Hess' Property Services Inc

Winter light in the Upper Valley comes in low and blue off the ridges, and a Lebanon dooryard can fill with eight inches between supper and the alarm clock — which is why the plow is already moving, why sand and salt go down before the first commute rolls past the brick mills along the Mascoma. Hess' Property Services Inc works the whole calendar of this river country: plowing and snow removal, sanding and salting when the hills glaze over; mowing, tree and shrub work, landscaping and material delivery once the mud dries out. There is a deeper satisfaction in the work that stays — a patio squared to the house, a retaining wall holding its line against the grade, a walkway set stone by stone, excavation cut clean, hydroseed and sod turning a raw slope green by June. They care for residential and commercial properties across the Upper Valley, from Sunapee, New Hampshire up to Bradford, Vermont, sweeping the lots and keeping the grounds so every place holds its shape through the year.
