About Millbrook Landservices LLC

Landaff is a hill town of open pastures and dirt roads on the western edge of the White Mountains, where the big peaks rise blue along the eastern horizon. Millbrook Landservices LLC looks after the land around homes here, mowing lawns, trimming along fences and stone walls, and keeping the grass from swallowing the yard in the fast-growing weeks of June. In a place this small, where the nearest neighbor may be a whole field away, a mowed lawn reads as a kind of welcome. The work suits the town: practical, outdoors, mindful of what the land wants. At dusk, with the hay down in the fields and hermit thrushes singing from the woods, a freshly tended Landaff yard feels like a small, well-ordered world.
