TNX Land Management works the ground of Cheshire County, where the Ashuelot slides past Keene's brick blocks and Monadnock sits blue on the southern rim of the sky. Their days run between two kinds of shaping — the machine work of lot clearing and site prep, basements and footings, drainage, boulder retaining walls and trucking, and the finer hand of mowing and lawn maintenance, hedge and tree trimming, mulch and garden beds, spring and fall cleanups. Between those sit the hardscapes: gravel and paver driveways, walkways, patios, and retaining walls set to hold a slope through a hundred freezes. When winter closes the valley they clear snow and ice from driveways, parking lots and walkways for homes and commercial properties, so the first car out meets pavement instead of drift. There is a plain satisfaction in all of it — a lawn cut clean to its edges, stone that sits true, a piece of New Hampshire land that looks looked-after.
