About Mountainshade LLC

In Jaffrey the cold comes down off Monadnock first, pooling in the low ground near the Contoocook while the summit still holds the last of the afternoon light. Mountainshade LLC works those hours — the squall that slides off the mountain at two in the morning, the driveway banked shut by daybreak — pushing snow back to bare pavement and square, honest edges. There is a real satisfaction in a lot opened before the first car turns in: dark asphalt, banks set where they won't blind a driver or block a door, the whole place ready for a town that still has to get to work. Around Jaffrey and the village roads of the Monadnock region, the storm sets the schedule, and the cleared drive at the end of it is the proof.
