About Olkonen Earthscapes

You can watch weather come to Hopkinton — it stacks up over Kearsarge to the northwest, and then it is here. Olkonen Earthscapes plans around that view, with trucks staged and routes set so plowing is under way while the storm is still filling in. Driveways get opened, walkways and entries cleared down to the surface, salt and sand laid where ice would otherwise take hold. The hill roads out toward the lake country keep their snow long after the valley lets go, and properties up there need a second and a third pass to stay honest. When the sky finally clears over the ridgeline and every drive on the route is wide open, the day feels like it counted.
