About Jelley and Sons Landscaping LLC

February nights in Hopkinton run long, and the Contoocook moves black between white banks while the village sleeps under the old covered railroad bridge. Jelley and Sons Landscaping LLC works those hours — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and steps, spreading salt and sand where slope and shade conspire against you. The aim never changes: by the time the kitchen light comes on, the drive is open all the way to the road. Storms here come sideways off the hills and drift the same three spots every time, and knowing those spots is most of the job. It is cold work at an unsociable hour, and there is real pride in clean pavement at six in the morning.
