Park Avenue in late October is more leaf than pavement by four in the afternoon. Seacoast Yard Works spends that season moving them — clearing Hampton lawns, beds and walks down to open ground before the rain packs everything flat. Through the growing months it is mowing, string trimming and edging on a route that keeps yards from ever getting ahead of anyone. The difference between a yard cut and a yard finished is ten minutes of trimming and a quick pass with the blower, and that time gets spent. Spring opens with the same clearing, done in reverse.
