Chapman's Lawn Care and Maintenance

About Chapman's Lawn Care and Maintenance

By October the Hampton marsh has gone the color of a lion's coat, and the tide slides up the creeks behind the houses without making a sound. Chapman's Lawn Care and Maintenance keeps the lawns on that inland side of town, mowing, trimming, edging along the walks, and gathering the leaves the salt wind stacks into every corner. Grass grows differently within reach of the Atlantic; it takes wind and blown sand and keeps going, and it repays a cut kept at the right height. A spring cleanup starts the year, weekly mowing carries it, and one good fall pass puts the yard to bed. The pleasure is all in the finish, a straight border along the drive and a lawn that reads even from the road.
