About Osgood Hill Farm LLC

Hampstead sits on a rumpled shelf of southern New Hampshire — glacial hills, stone walls sunk deep into oak woods, and the still water of Wash Pond and Angle Pond holding the light between them. Osgood Hill Farm LLC works that ground outward from Main Street, both building landscapes and keeping them: stone and hardscaping set against the ledge, ponds and waterfalls given somewhere to fall, planting and removal, spring and fall cleanup, lawn and garden care all through the growing months. There is a particular pleasure in the finished thing — a wall that looks as though it was always there, a bed edged clean against the grass, a lawn combed out once the last leaf is gone. Come winter the work turns to snow and ice removal, dooryards and lots opened while the pond is still black under its early skim, so that morning arrives already passable. Landscape design, construction, hardscaping and property maintenance for residential and commercial properties — work that leaves its mark on a place in a way you can walk across.
